From the late 1970s, when no meaningful wireless communications were on the scene, Huneed Technologies started to firmly establish its status as an unrivaled specialist in designing and manufacturing transmission equipment and has been supplying a variety of commercial communication equipment such as M/W transmission equipment, multiplex equipment and visual signal converters to key national communication network companies throughout the 80s and 90s.
Huneed Technologies also has been supplying various RF, optical and digital repeaters to the market in order to meet the rapid surge in demand for mobile communication services during the late 1990s.
Now, with the introduction of broadband services and the use of IPs becoming a norm in the domestic communications market, Huneed Technologies is focused on developing and providing specialized products and integrated solutions for various applications such as next generation wired and wireless communications, all IP convergence based on the integration of communication and broadcasting, and system integration for the public domain.
In addition, Huneed will continue to utilize its experience and know-how in the wireless communication area as evidenced in the development and success of the multi-channel multi-point distribution system, integrated pictorial image network solutions for traffic control and safety, and railway platform communication equipment. Huneed Technologies’ total perimeter security solution, based on the highly advanced fiber-optic perimeter intruder detection system, is also expected to generate new business opportunities particularly in the international market amidst the changing security environment. |
