The VRC-946K, utilized in the military command network, is a highly advanced VHF band radio that provides frequency hopping functions to overcome electronic warfare, frequency memory functions, and digital data communication functions.
It possesses various functions for wireless communication and, as a frequency modulation-type VHF band radio that is installed on jeeps, tanks and armored vehicles, can transmit and receive voice and digital data via fixed frequency or frequency hopping mode.
The VRC-946K series is comprised of 4 models (VRC-946K, VRC-947K, VRC-949K and VRC-964K) and is capable of interfacing with other data processing equipment.
