Huneed and Elta Systems Sign DLPS Contract |

On 28 March 2010, Huneed signed a contract worth USD 1.7M with Elta Systems of Israel for the development of a data link processor system (DLPS) as a part of the Korean Early Warning Radar (EWR) Offset Program.
Elta’s Green Pine Block B radar was selected in 2009 as Korea’s EWR to deter and counter ballistic missile threats from North Korea and other enemy states.
Huneed is planning to develop a DLPS that will enhance Korea’s independent ballistic missile defense operation capability by enabling the data link interface between the EWR and the Korea Anti-missile Defense Operation Cell (KAMD CELL). |
